26th castle and landscape run
Volkssportlauf in Zschopau for runners and Nordic walkers over 18, 14 and 7 km with staggered entry fees. Children's and Bambini runs from 12.30 pm, free of charge. Shuttle buses connect the locations, catering for participants and visitors from 11.30 am.

From the fortifications to the hunting lodge to the museum hostel
Built on the foundations of a 12th century fortification, Wildeck Castle used to watch over the ford on the Zschopau. In the middle of the 16th century, it was converted into a hunting lodge. Today, the white Renaissance castle is home to several museums.
