The exhibition shows 400 years of children's fashion: clothing from the August Ohm collection meets paintings by the von Schönburg family. Idealized portraits of children and historical pieces reflect the changing nature of childhood and the wishes of future generations.
Cabinet exhibition: Saxon castles and palaces in Z-gauge
Horst Oschmann's delicate paper models of Saxon castles and palaces on a scale of 1:220 tell of great passion on a small scale. The exhibition is complemented by atmospheric oil paintings of regional buildings by Uwe Gerschler.

The special exhibition of the Burgstädt Museum Association in the local history museum shows Burgstädt's stores and streets in GDR times. In Kantor-Meister-Straße 2, a piece of the town's history comes to life and invites visitors to remember and discover.

All weather - Exhibition
In the Taurastein Tower in Burgstädt, Via Lewandowsky combines light, sound and space to create a unique installation. Film sequences, LED light and sounds from a former tin mine create an atmospheric experience from the base of the tower to the viewing platform.
