Book reading: The papermaker's wife
To mark the Day of the Printing Press, ZeitWerkStadt presents a literary and historical evening in which Antje Henkel-Schilbach immerses herself in the period around 1600 and the magic of the craft with her debut novel.
No vacation—you're under arrest
In her reading, Liane Mainka tells the true story of a young couple who, in 1975, were persecuted and imprisoned by the Stasi for having family ties to the West. A moving family history with roots stretching back to Silesia in 1874.
