Historische Ausstellung
1997 wurde der Grundstock für die Sammlung gelegt. Die Idee für ein „Ziegelei- & Dorfmuseum“ entstand. Bürger gaben historische Gegenstände ab, die Ausstellung wuchs. Heute betreibt ein Förderverein das Museum mit Ringofen, landwirtschaftlichen Geräten u.v.m.
The new permanent exhibition CoalWorld
This is a journey through the 1000-year history of the Saxon coal mining industry. You will learn how and where the coal was produced and how the "black diamonds" were used. You get to know new personalities and the demonstration mine.
Woven history
An insight into almost two centuries of textile history: from jacquard fabrics to velvets, the exhibition shows the development of upholstery fabric production. Originals, machines and designs tell of the interplay between craftsmanship and technology.
