The new permanent exhibition CoalWorld
This is a journey through the 1000-year history of the Saxon coal mining industry. You will learn how and where the coal was produced and how the "black diamonds" were used. You get to know new personalities and the demonstration mine.
Thalheim in miniature
The display area shows around 40 models of houses and monuments from Thalheim. The tradition began in 1962, when a grandfather created a hiking site for his grandson. Since then, the site, which used to be a landfill site, has grown.

The Universe in a Pearl - Great art in a small church!
