Contactless guided tour in the Saigerhütte
The pilot project allows visitors to experience the area independently. They look for the pins in the area, select "Information about this location" on the monitor and receive information, pictures, stories and films about the Saigerhütte.

Guided tour: A "Rosswerk" as a mining exhibition facility
In addition to demonstrations of the Göpelfunktion, also with horses at weekends, there is a historic mountain forge where the spindle press and forge fire with anvil are presented. You can also marvel at the fairytale mountain of the carving association.
The secret laboratory - The elixir of life
Augustusburg Castle is launching a new, interactive experience: visitors follow Electress Anna, discover hidden recipes, decipher ancient writings and distil an elixir of life - staged with effects almost like magic.
Time travel experience
Time travel is impossible? Not at Augustusburg Castle! A "time machine" catapults visitors back to the Renaissance. Dressed in period costumes, you can experience everyday life back then and learn interesting facts about courtly etiquette.

Guided tour of the Saigerhütte site
On the one-hour tour, the Saigerhüttenknappe guides you through the smelting works in traditional costume and explains how silver is separated from copper. The tour also takes in the old houses of "Kupferhammer-Grünthal" and many a hidden spot in the area.

The special tour of Augustusburg Castle opens up otherwise hidden rooms. Discover the Lindenhaus, Kaisersaal and the "Trompeterstuhl" with a view. Insights into the everyday life of the servants and the water supply in the 16th century round off the tour.

Accompanied by the valets Agnes and Luise, this is an entertaining tour into the 16th century & a journey through the castle's history. There will be anecdotes from life at court & you will enter secret corridors. Water is tasted at the fountain house.
