Where the train runs on time
Since 1954, the trains of the park railroad have been running in Küchwaldpark on a 2.3 km circuit on the 600 mm gauge. On this circuit, you can see the play and sports facilities from a completely different perspective.

Niederwürschnitz light railroad
An experience for young and old. The light railroad and the original locomotives from the 1950s are real eye-catchers! During a 20-minute ride across the entire site, you can admire both the facilities of the former brickworks and the unique landscape.

Licht'lfahrt to the Schwarzenberg mining parade
Christmas time is always the best time of the year in the Ore Mountains. The destination of the special train is the "Schwarzenberg Mining Parade", an old custom in which miners from all over Germany parade through the decorated streets of the town.
Licht'lfahrt to the Annaberg-Buchholz mining parade
The destination is Annaberg. There is enough time to take a stroll through the Christmas market and watch the mountain parade. The journey then takes you back through the Christmas-lit Erzgebirge.
Music school at Thomas-Mann Platz
The lessons awaken musical talents at an early age, encourage them in a playful way and offer variety: from vocal and instrumental training to early musical education and group lessons. The musical choir enables performances on stage and in the recording studio.
All wood - the hands-on exhibition
The unique "All wood" exhibition delights families, children's groups and school classes with exciting interactive stations, experiments and a wood workshop all about sustainability, craftsmanship and creativity - including a surprise to take away.
Supporting Children Naturally with Aromatherapy
This experiential workshop demonstrates how aromatherapy can naturally support children. Pure plant essences can gently guide them through daycare, school, and the chaos of everyday life. The workshop also provides an opportunity to connect with like-minded people.
Art with the Family: Screen Printing with LEGO Bricks
During the family afternoon, participants will explore printmaking in a playful way. After a brief tour of the exhibition, they’ll use flat Lego bricks to create their own printing plates, which will then be printed using the relief printing process. Creative printing fun for the whole family.

Slide, drift, jump or romp
This pool has a lot to offer - rides on the 72 m long slide, drifting in the current channel or jumping from the 1, 3 or 5 m tower. The youngest children can romp around in the adventure playground or in the children's pool and are in good hands in the mother-child area.

Trampoline Basic Tricks for Kids
A certified trainer guides the children step by step in a safe environment, improves posture and coordination and gives tips on how to improve until they succeed. For kids aged 8 - 12, no previous experience necessary.
