Members of the Alfreds Crew Youth Council lead a tour of the “Serving Gender” exhibition at the Gunzenhauser Museum. The tour explores gender roles, care work, and social structures related to food from the perspective of young people.

Town hall and tower tour
A newer section was added to the historic Old Town Hall in 1911. The treasures in the double town hall, such as the paintings by Max Klinger and Neo Rauch, are on display, as is the High Tower, which offers a special view over the city.
City tour
A one-hour tour of the town sheds light on its development from a farming village to an industrial town. Topics include the hosiery guild, local economic development, important connections to Dresden and the rise to a textile center. Meeting point: Esche Museum.

Red dungeon tour with city center tour
There are 100 steps to climb to enjoy a special view from the oldest building in the city. In addition to the history of the city, visitors learn about the spectacular prison inmate who served time here. Finally, there is a short tour of the city center.
