Schumann-Fest Zwickau: Children's afternoon: Wunderkind Clara
Clara is a child prodigy: she plays at the Gewandhaus at the age of nine and shows Paganini her own pieces. In this participatory concert, children hear Clara's polonaises, listen to exciting stories and get to make music, sing and dance themselves.

The Trio Vivente has been delighting audiences with beautiful, lively chamber music since 1992. In Zwickau, they play piano trios by Clara Schumann, her pupil Luise Adolpha Le Beau and Ethel Smyth, whom Clara vividly describes in her memoirs.
