A pug came into... the castle? Yes! If you look closely, you will discover other animals in the castle! Pablo the parrot even claims there are 100s! We roam the museum rooms with flashlights, looking for animals and solving puzzles and tasks.

Domenico Scarlatti, born in 1685, wrote 555 virtuoso sonatas. Clara Schumann brought them back to the stage in the 19th century. A copy, made for Brahms, contains handwritten entries by both - a precious testimony to their musical friendship.

An artistically designed share from 1860 from the Oberhohndorfer-Schader coal mining association is presented as the museum object of the month. It bears witness to the once lively associations in the Zwickau coalfield and the close connection between mining and the town's history.
