Culture in a double pack: experience the castle & palace at night
The Kultur.Palais.Lichtenstein opens until late in the evening as part of the "Night of the Palaces". Guests can experience the special exhibition on the European Design Award shortly before it closes and discover the neighboring palace at the same time.

The new permanent exhibition CoalWorld
This is a journey through the 1000-year history of the Saxon coal mining industry. You will learn how and where the coal was produced and how the "black diamonds" were used. You get to know new personalities and the demonstration mine.
Fall exhibition - print experiments
Ilona Lommatzsch, born in 1950, combines technical skill and creative diversity as an artist and art teacher. Her exhibition presents impressive print experiments that unite nature and imagination in exciting compositions.

Special tour: architectural tour
