The new permanent exhibition CoalWorld
This is a journey through the 1000-year history of the Saxon coal mining industry. You will learn how and where the coal was produced and how the "black diamonds" were used. You get to know new personalities and the demonstration mine.

Historische Ausstellung
1997 wurde der Grundstock für die Sammlung gelegt. Die Idee für ein „Ziegelei- & Dorfmuseum“ entstand. Bürger gaben historische Gegenstände ab, die Ausstellung wuchs. Heute betreibt ein Förderverein das Museum mit Ringofen, landwirtschaftlichen Geräten u.v.m.
Jan Kummer: Heimat Ensemble II
Resembling enlarged crown corks, the elements made of thin sheet metal fit together and become a work of art in a playful and ironic exaggeration. The arrangement is reminiscent of Mickey Mouse, and a little bit of naive tinkering with a cult factor.
