Corpus Christi service with procession
The Catholic parish of St. Bernhardt in Nossen celebrates Corpus Christi with a procession in the spiritual ambience of the monastery park. Afterwards, the congregation is invited to a barbecue at the Böttcherei.
Monastery service
Once a year, the Protestant congregations of the Altzella monastery district celebrate a church service under the 200-year-old beech trees, accompanied by choirs and trombones. This is followed by a barbecue lunch for a cozy get-together.

Within the atmospheric walls of the former Cistercian monastery of Altzella, sound therapist Kristin Voss takes her guests on a journey of sound. Where monks once prayed and sang, guests can indulge in the undisturbed sounds of singing bowls and the like.
