Time travel is impossible? Not at Augustusburg Castle! A "time machine" catapults visitors back to the Renaissance. Dressed in period costumes, you can experience everyday life back then and learn interesting facts about courtly etiquette.

Turmhofer punching wheel guide
The Turmhof waterwheel was built to drive a wet punching plant for ore processing and was in operation from 1846 to 1889. It is the last functioning waterwheel in German ore mining that is still largely in its original condition.
