Where the train runs on time
Since 1954, the trains of the park railroad have been running in Küchwaldpark on a 2.3 km circuit on the 600 mm gauge. On this circuit, you can see the play and sports facilities from a completely different perspective.
Dance festival of the Emmerling dance school
All visitors, young and old, are cordially invited to the Emmerling Dance School's dance festival. The Dance4Kids & Dance4Fans groups show off their skills and create a party atmosphere. Of course, Emmi - the dancing mouse will also be there.
Walpurgis rides
With the colorfully illuminated train through the Küchwald forest in the evening: the Walpurgis Night light rides enchant with a magical atmosphere, a sparkling experience for young and old.

On the trail of nature
An invitation to adventure trips on the park railroad with stops along the route, combined with natural history explanations in the Küchwald forest. (including identification of trees, plants and birds) by employees of the City of Chemnitz Parks Department.
Whitsun steam and Whitsun holidays in the countryside
The park railroad in Küchwald offers a full program of rides on the Whitsun weekend. Steam locomotive operation on the line begins at 1 pm.
Children's day trips
On Children's Day, small treats await the little passengers on the park railroad in the summery Chemnitz Küchwald. There is also a sandman ride at 5.45 pm.
Savings weekend
The money-saving weekend offers the opportunity to enjoy a double ride for the price of a single ride, ideal for anyone who wants to plan an unforgettable experience and save money at the same time.
Rail trotting
