WINTER HOLIDAY WORKSHOP: Mini weavers discover the world of thread
In the weaving workshop "Mini weavers discover the world of thread", schoolchildren up to the age of 16 immerse themselves in textile crafts in a playful way. Soft, colorful yarns are used to create potholders, coasters and ribbons. Weaving on the loom can also be tried out.

Guided tours for children during the Saxon Easter vacations
During an exciting guided tour, young explorers learn how the world-famous angels with the eleven wing points are created. Interactive stations invite them to try things out, and a quiz helps the angel to find his eleven dots.
Vacation program: Around the Hunt
In the museum you can discover what hunts were used for in the mine. Afterwards you will make your own Hunt out of salt dough to take home. Please bring a small cardboard box (approx. 13 x 7 cm). As we will be working with natural materials, "robber clothes" are recommended
Easter vacation in the Miniwelt
Crafting fun awaits visitors in the show workshop, great hands-on activities and the wheel of fortune with great prizes. There are also the popular outdoor games - such as "Mensch ärgere Dich nicht" at the Eiffel Tower.

In this workshop, children learn about the many possibilities of soap making & make their own soap. In the past, fat and ash were used, later precious oil was added. The kids learn what role washing with soap played in the past.
