2nd chamber music evening
The chamber music evening combines Ravel's Sonata for Violin and Cello, Tailleferre's Sonata No. 1 and Lachner's brilliant Nonet in F major, which reflects Munich's musical heritage of the 19th century.
3rd chamber music evening
The concert presents the fortepiano, played by Thomas Synofzik, and offers works by Schumann, Louis Ferdinand Prince of Prussia and Franz Schubert, which impressively showcase the diversity and expressive power of this special instrument.
Symphony Concert No. 6: Resurrection
Gustav Mahler's Second Symphony is regarded as a masterpiece of orchestral literature, which deals with a hero's journey through life, death and resurrection and inspires with its monumental orchestration and human themes.
