Lost things are revived here
Miniature buildings on a scale of 1:10 have been built in Weißbach since 2004. Rich in detail and partly equipped with special mechanisms, the layout grows year by year to include a historically interesting, typical Erzgebirge building that no longer exists.

Historische Ausstellung
1997 wurde der Grundstock für die Sammlung gelegt. Die Idee für ein „Ziegelei- & Dorfmuseum“ entstand. Bürger gaben historische Gegenstände ab, die Ausstellung wuchs. Heute betreibt ein Förderverein das Museum mit Ringofen, landwirtschaftlichen Geräten u.v.m.

Adam Ries, a 16th century arithmetic master, is known for his correct solutions. His legacy survives in the form of the Adam Ries Museum, which enables interactive learning and experience of his methods.

Merchants' stores, not only from the Erzgebirge, tell the story of their time through their individual design, furnishings and products. Toys from the early to mid-20th century invite you to marvel at the attention to detail and play with them yourself.

Exhibition: Who is Oskar Burkhardt? A search for clues on the Erzgebirge ridge
Who was Oskar Burkhardt (1882-1960)? His grandson Peter Gaschütz presents the life and work of the Meissen landscape painter and ceramicist. The occasion is a generous donation of Erzgebirge landscape paintings from the Gaschütz family.

It is said that wild boars foraging for food once uncovered the first tin ore in Ehrenfriedersdorf. This left its mark on the town - and so the patinated gunmetal bronze by the Dresden sculptor also contains pewter and traces of work, worked in with bare hands.
