Carl Emanuel Wolff: Wild boars
It is said that wild boars foraging for food once uncovered the first tin ore in Ehrenfriedersdorf. This left its mark on the town - and so the patinated gunmetal bronze by the Dresden sculptor also contains pewter and traces of work, worked in with bare hands.
Objects from the street scene are twisted and grouped by the artist. This creates sculptures that appear to be exposed to external forces, in resistance. The 42 bollards are reminiscent of groups of people and 42 days of the "Free Republic of Schwarzenberg".
