Opening: The unseen design classic and film premiere
With "Stuhl EW 1192", the exhibition at the Chemnitz Industrial Museum puts the spotlight on a GDR kitchen chair that was used by millions but was barely documented. The film premiere with a discussion about this silent design classic will be shown at the opening.
Culinary delights before or after enjoying art
Villa Esche is both a cultural asset and a gourmet manufactory. In front is the building built by the Belgian architect and designer Henry van de Velde in 1902/03 for the manufacturer Esche, now a museum, and next to it in the coach house there are culinary delights and good wines.
