Ironing
The museum displays a functional cold laundry ironer from the Chemnitz-based company Paul Thiele. Visitors can try out the historical technology for themselves - simply bring your own ironing laundry and experience a piece of everyday history.

Print vacation course
In the printing workshop for children up to the age of 16, you can work with movable type made of metal or wood. They can try out the printing process themselves on an old printing press and creatively design small printed matter.
Igor Mitoraj: Testa Addormentata
Oederan is delighted to be able to tell the story of the sculptor Igor Mitoraj (1944 - 2014) in Oederan thanks to the loan from the Wemhöner Collection. Mitoraj had a special relationship with Oederan. Publications about the artist are available.

Building a bird feeder
