Rochsburg Castle
Rochsburg Castle, majestically situated on a rocky spur in the nature reserve, offers a fascinating costume exhibition, a varied program of events and the delicious chocolate creations of the "Choco Del Sol" manufactory.
Behind the scenes
On this tour, visitors can experience those mysterious areas of Rochsburg Castle that are not included in the public museum tour, e.g. rooms of the former youth hostel, various attics and otherwise closed, as yet unrestored areas.
Theater tour: The scandalous duchess
It sounds scandalous. A duchess wakes up lightly clothed and with no memory of the previous night. What has happened? What will the consequences be? While searching for the clothes, the guests follow the noblewoman through the castle in an exciting spectacle.
Special exhibition: From BOTTICELLI to YVES SAINT LAURENT - Treasures from the AUGUST OHM Foundation
The special exhibition shows around 50 highlights from the August Ohm Foundation. Works by Lucas Cranach the Elder, Sandro Botticelli and Andy Warhol enter into a dialog ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day.

"Spring Awakening in the Castle - We Haunt the Outside" invites you to an imaginative family day at Rochsburg Castle. With hands-on activities, a film program and a special guided tour to the filming locations of the series "Spooky Outdoors" with Michael Kreskowsky.
Special tour
Michael Kreskowsky takes you to the original locations at Rochsburg Castle. Scenes from Günter Meyer's GDR television series Spuk von draußen were filmed here in 1987. A search for clues between history and television nostalgia.

The arts and crafts market around Rochlitz Castle presents selected artists, craftspeople and designers from several federal states with their products: Exquisite, beautiful, crazy and useful things from their workshops. From hats to jewelry to soaps.

General guided tour of the palace: Cross-section
This tour gives an overview of the most important places in the castle. For example, the black kitchen with its huge stove and functioning chimney and the huge towers that conceal dungeons and torture chambers.
Exhibition: Castles and fortresses
The exhibition "Palaces and Castles" shows photographs by Yu Lap Tang. With a keen sense of light, structure and atmosphere, the artist from Hong Kong opens up new perspectives on European architecture between past and present.
