Limbach-Oberfrohna Zoo was founded 65 years ago. It has been a popular excursion destination ever since. There are 300 animals of 68 species to marvel at in the 2 hectare park. It has been converted into an "America" theme park in recent years.

Enjoy hearty food in the rocks
Guests won't find ore here - that was tried in vain 500 years ago - but an amazing cave ambience. Nice and cool in summer, nice and warm in winter. The kitchen prepares hearty dishes such as roulade or crispy roast knuckle of pork to match.
Modern times in the doll's house
The exhibition shows doll's houses and doll's furniture by Bodo Hennig, born in Borstendorf in 1928, once the largest manufacturer of its kind in West Germany. It is complemented by objects from the collection of Elke Kramer from Limbach-Oberfrohna.
