On the trail of knights, manufacturers and scholars
The listed Mylau Castle is the only almost completely preserved and largest castle complex in the Saxon Vogtland region, making it an outstanding architectural monument and the museum's most important exhibit.

Behind the scenes, the museum houses an almost endless collection of historical objects. Some of them are presented to all visitors in the permanent exhibition.

The Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 59 in A major and the Violoncello Concerto No. 2 in D major as well as Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 in A major op. 92.
