Historische Ausstellung
1997 wurde der Grundstock für die Sammlung gelegt. Die Idee für ein „Ziegelei- & Dorfmuseum“ entstand. Bürger gaben historische Gegenstände ab, die Ausstellung wuchs. Heute betreibt ein Förderverein das Museum mit Ringofen, landwirtschaftlichen Geräten u.v.m.
Rad und Wanderwege um die Alte Ziegelei
Das Freizeitgelände „Alte Ziegelei“ liegt im erzgebirgischen Becken. Das ist relativ flach. Von hier aus sind die Wege für ungeübte Wanderer & Radfahrer bestens geeignet. So kann man sich kilometerweit per Rad oder zu Fuß ohne nennenswerte Steigung bewegen.
Spielplatz Alte Ziegelei
Direkt neben dem Imbiss befindet sich ein schöner Kinderspielplatz mit Rutsche, Sandkasten, Schaukel und Klettergerüst. Auf dem Platz stehen auch mehrere Bänke, so dass sich die Eltern ein bisschen ausruhen können, während die Kleinen spielen.

A guided tour of selected Karl May sites in Hohenstein combines historical buildings with insights into Karl May's biography and brings the Ernstthal years of the famous writer to life - ideally complemented by a visit to the Karl May House.
Hike to the Karl May Cave
The hike to the Karl May Cave offers groups of up to 25 people a special experience. In around 4 hours, the tour can be ideally combined with a visit to the Karl May House.
Knitting and hosiery history
The working machines offer visitors a comprehensive insight into the production of hosiery, sewing, knitting, embroidery and trimmings. The lingerie exhibition shows pieces from various eras right up to the present day.

Caroline Mesquitas: Motorbike / Medusa Motorbike
