On the trail of knights, manufacturers and scholars
The listed Mylau Castle is the only almost completely preserved and largest castle complex in the Saxon Vogtland region, making it an outstanding architectural monument and the museum's most important exhibit.

Behind the scenes, the museum houses an almost endless collection of historical objects. Some of them are presented to all visitors in the permanent exhibition.
3rd symphony concert
The Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra will play Carl Nielsen's Little Suite for Strings op. 1, Camille Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor op. 2226 and the Symphony No. 5 in D minor MWV N15 "Reformation Symphony" by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
4th symphony concert
The Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Alan Silvestri's Concert Suite from the film Polar Express, Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C major KV 314 and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade op. 35.
