The new permanent exhibition CoalWorld
This is a journey through the 1000-year history of the Saxon coal mining industry. You will learn how and where the coal was produced and how the "black diamonds" were used. You get to know new personalities and the demonstration mine.

Historische Ausstellung
1997 wurde der Grundstock für die Sammlung gelegt. Die Idee für ein „Ziegelei- & Dorfmuseum“ entstand. Bürger gaben historische Gegenstände ab, die Ausstellung wuchs. Heute betreibt ein Förderverein das Museum mit Ringofen, landwirtschaftlichen Geräten u.v.m.
Rad und Wanderwege um die Alte Ziegelei
Das Freizeitgelände „Alte Ziegelei“ liegt im erzgebirgischen Becken. Das ist relativ flach. Von hier aus sind die Wege für ungeübte Wanderer & Radfahrer bestens geeignet. So kann man sich kilometerweit per Rad oder zu Fuß ohne nennenswerte Steigung bewegen.
Spielplatz Alte Ziegelei
Direkt neben dem Imbiss befindet sich ein schöner Kinderspielplatz mit Rutsche, Sandkasten, Schaukel und Klettergerüst. Auf dem Platz stehen auch mehrere Bänke, so dass sich die Eltern ein bisschen ausruhen können, während die Kleinen spielen.

The personal exhibition of the artist Christian Siegel opens in the Schlossgalerie Wildenfels. His works will then be on display for several weeks.

On the guided tour through the demonstration mine, we experience the world of miners up close. Between tunnels and machines, we show tools, explain mining and conveying technology and tell exciting stories about the hard work underground - loud and impressive.
Miners' regulars' table: Global raw materials justice - from the Ore Mountains to Bolivia
A former tin miner from Bolivia reports on the development of mining: from colonial silver to the tin boom and today's lithium extraction. The lecture draws a link to debates in the Ore Mountains and Europe's role.
