Historically impressive - a culinary delight
In a building full of history & an impressive ambience, guests can expect dishes from the kitchen prepared by an experienced team. Saxon sauerbraten, Saxon beef roulade or vegetarian delicacies - all a delight!
Medullosa stellata
Since October 2023, the museum has been presenting the fossil of the year: Medullosa stellata, a fossil seed plant with fern leaves. The exhibition reveals parts of the sensational find and presents a digital reconstruction model for the first time.
Proboscideans
The freely accessible area shows the evolution of the proboscideans, with numerous fossils and objects discovered by Christopher Herrmann offering a fascinating insight into the world of elephants and mammoths.
