Where the train runs on time
Since 1954, the trains of the park railroad have been running in Küchwaldpark on a 2.3 km circuit on the 600 mm gauge. On this circuit, you can see the play and sports facilities from a completely different perspective.
Autumn steam
Sit back and relax, listen to the puffing of the steam locomotive and enjoy the view of the colorful Küchwald forest. The 2.3 km long circular route, which was put into operation in 1954, is still a great excursion for families with children.
Culinary delights and history in a half-timbered house
On historic grounds in the immediate vicinity of the castle pond lies an elaborately renovated building of the former "castle mill". In the rustic dining room on three floors, culinary delights ranging from cream of mushroom soup to goose liver and carp are served.

The permanent exhibition of the Schloßbergmuseum is explored together in a playful way. City models and stories from eight centuries invite you on an exciting tour. Afterwards, visitors can create their own small works of art and take them home.

Gothic sculpture in Saxony
