The listed Mylau Castle is the only almost completely preserved and largest castle complex in the Saxon Vogtland region, making it an outstanding architectural monument and the museum's most important exhibit.

German Mill Day
German Mill Day takes place every year on Whit Monday. On this day, people are made aware of the importance of the forgotten craft of milling. The mill in Syrau is a special place for this.
