Historically impressive - a culinary delight
In a building full of history & an impressive ambience, guests can expect dishes from the kitchen prepared by an experienced team. Saxon sauerbraten, Saxon beef roulade or vegetarian delicacies - all a delight!
Medullosa stellata
Since October 2023, the museum has been presenting the fossil of the year: Medullosa stellata, a fossil seed plant with fern leaves. The exhibition reveals parts of the sensational find and presents a digital reconstruction model for the first time.
Highlights of nature photography 2024
As every year, the Museum für Naturkunde presents the winning selection of the international competition "Highlights of Nature Photography". In 2024, the jurors received over 19,000 entries from 34 countries.
